What if I filled a sealed tube of PVC pipe rated to 180 psi to 80 psi of CO2?
What the CO2 tube react negatively with PVC pipe, such as getting too cold and brittle? CO2 would be a paintball CO2 tank.
If you started with liquid CO2 and pumped to the pipeline that would be very cold, but if you're talking about the fumes that CO2 is not the case. If you start with CO2 vapor at atmospheric conditions, and compressed to 80 psig will be very hot unless it cool after the compression process. You need to decide what are the conditions for CO2 before placing in the tube to know the Anwer.
