Rare Oop

Rare Oop

For years I hated the word responsibility. In fact, I have assumed little responsibility as possible! In recent months, however life / existence / God! have been sending my way in small doses. Taking responsibility has proved to be a good experience and not the burden of all the horrible thought to be ugly ..:)

The responsibility comes from 2 words: And the ability to answer, just say its ability to respond. During my training in yoga teacher Yoga Institute of Santacruz, always emphasized that we must learn to react less and increasingly oriented to the various situations we face daily. Then I tried to explore the reasons why it is so difficult to answer for me.

DO see things / PEOPLE / situations as they really are?
Unfortunately NO! Although one thing seems perfectly rational to respond instead of react, is not easy because the mind is constantly judging, creating fairy tales or divert horror stories or jump to conclusions or be very, very far from a totally different situation, these and other similar antics of the mind prevents us from seeing a situation as it is. This distorted perception, thoughts, emotions or actions that arise are all reactions!

A TEENAGER belligerent MIND?!
All my experience with yoga and meditation, have only served to underline the fact that I rarely listen to my wishes and mind most of the time doing his own thing! For example, I decide to sit and work, I suddenly feel like the tea and a snack, I give in and come back with food in the stomach, which probably was not necessary! Okay, ready to work-Oops I left my geyser in? I really need to call the grocery … my boyfriend has such a bad mood in recent days – Is there another woman? .. I realize I need to work and bring the mind back. A task that should have taken 10 minutes just to take my time because I lack the ability to control my mind and concentrate on a particular task!

It is patience and TRAINING REQUIRED?
For years, the mind has played master of the house and suddenly now if we hope to do my will, its an unrealistic expectation that it will lead to frustration for both. The mind should be treated with the company and gentle patience that you have when it comes of a child. But first we must develop the awareness to recognize that the mind has strayed to do their own thing. Most of the time end up rolling into thoughts and emotions for a while before I realize that my mind is not doing the job that is given. This training is an ongoing project for me comes through Vippasana of meditation and yoga. For hours every day just to keep your mind on the breath or feelings or body movements and I think this really works wonder.

Too much in YOUR PLATE?
One of the things that led to a frustration for me was that I wanted to do too much in a limited period. Now I know that also as another of the minds of many tricks to distract us from taking back the reins and own our own home again! Imagine who want to be immediately able to obscure the features of the mind that have been strengthened over life (or if you believe in one life – in a period of 33 years!). In the words of Freddy Mercury – I want it all and I want it now! This is our greatest deficiency that leads to impatience, frustration, so much unhappiness, stress and disease.

As a final note on the responsibility, I would cite Goenkaji: an ignorant person always gives 100% out of guilt (on external factors such and – other people, time!) in your suffering. As one advances on the spiritual path, one begins to take more and more responsibility over time, knowing that the 100% blame me.

What is beautiful to be responsible for their suffering is the key out of suffering in a world of happy, joyful into their own hands!

Woody Allen makes beautiful music but only fitful comedy with his story of “the second greatest guitar player in the world.” Sean Penn plays Emmett Ray, an irresponsible, womanizing swing guitar player in Depression-era America who is guided by an ego almost as large as his talent. “I’m an artist, a truly great artist,” he proclaims time and time again, and when he plays, soaring into a blissed-ou…
